In 2017 Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico and made one thing impossible to ignore — the island needed serious engineering capability from within. Not imported. Not outsourced. Built here.Insu was founded to change that. We started with a problem worth solving — how do you keep insulin cold without power during a disaster? That question became our first product, our first patent, and our proof that great engineering can come from anywhere.Since then we have grown into a full hardware and software development firm — NSF SBIR Phase I and II funded, backed by the Puerto Rico Science Trust, the Roddenberry Foundation, and the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development.
MEET OUR CEO
Mechanical Engineer & Industrial Product Designer, from Houston, Texas. Mason has spent the last decade building hardware solutions at the intersection of engineering, user-centered design, and real-world production.
With international commercialization and product development experience and a team comprised of engineers across electrical, computer, software, and chemical and procurement specialties. INSU provides a turnkey approach to getting products ready for market.
